The Two Moors Way is a path linking Lynmouth in north Devon to Ivybridge in south Devon. In order to do this it must cross Exmoor and Dartmoor, the two moors of its title, as well as the beautiful section of Devon countryside that links them.
Because it involves wide swathes of open moor in its southern portion it can be extremely challenging, or walkers can instead take one of the routes that skirts round the high moor and offers more convenient options for accommodation.
This path has always fascinated us linking, as it does, two settlements that are close to the beginning and the end of the South West Coast Path. It is our intention to walk the path from south to north as a coda to our decade or more of walking in the south west.
